How many Pokémon sets are there?

This list has 863 sets with cards or products in our catalog, English, Japanese and Chinese, from the first sets of the 1990s to the one releasing next. New sets are added when they are announced, and the list is updated several times a day.

What is the newest Pokémon set?

30th Celebration Premium Deck is the most recently released set in the list. The newest always comes first within each era, and sets that are not out yet show their release date. What releases next, and what it costs to preorder, is in the release calendar.

In what order did the Pokémon sets come out?

The list is sorted by release date, newest first, and grouped by era (Mega Evolution, Scarlet & Violet, Sword & Shield and so on back to Base). Every set shows its release date and card count, so the order can be read straight off without looking anything up.

Which cards in a set are worth the most?

Open the set and you see the card list with market value per card, with the most expensive cards in the set at the top. Secret rares, illustration rares and Charizard cards usually carry the value in a modern set. The value is for ungraded condition; graded prices are on each card page.

What is the difference between English and Japanese sets?

They are different products with different card lists, numbers and prices, even when they share a name. A Japanese card is valued as its own card, not as the English one with the same artwork. Japanese and Chinese sets sit under their own tabs here, and the card pages state the language.
